The 36-meter Laozi statue in Laoshan Taiqing Palace in Qingdao, Shandong was cast in tin bronze by Luotong Group Golden Statue Company, and the surface was chemically colored. The installation was completed in May 2016. The bronze statue is located in the back mountain of Taiqing Palace, with a height of 36 meters. It has become a brand-new landmark for tourism on the southern route of Laoshan Mountain in Qingdao. It is currently the largest Laozi statue in the world. Looking at the Taiqing Palace in Laoshan from a distance, the statue of Lao Tzu stands proudly, which is very spectacular.
